Guarding
Guarding provides physical separation around pulley, roller and rotating contact points and exposed conveyor approach areas. It supports safer access at the nip points, pinch points and hazard zones where maintenance teams work near the belt. Guarding forms part of a site guarding and access strategy — it supports safer access but does not replace a formal risk assessment or create legal compliance.
