Components · Conveyor Safety
A conveyor is full of nip, shear and pinch points — at pulleys, at return idlers over walkways, inside transfer chutes. Tru-Trac guards those hazards and gives crews safe ways to lift, clamp and inspect the belt, so the guarding gets fitted and stays fitted instead of being removed to get the work done.
01 / Engineering logic
Guard the moving parts. Don't lock out maintenance.
A guard that blocks routine work gets removed and left off. Effective conveyor safety covers the hazard points and leaves crews a safe way to lift, clamp and inspect the belt — so the guarding stays fitted.

Guarding

Nip Guard
Physical barrier that removes worker exposure to pinch points at head, tail and drive pulleys.
- Distinctive adjustable guard holds a consistent distance between belt and guard.
- Simple installation; low maintenance; operates in all conditions.
- Robust design for long service life; installs on bi-directional belts.

Safe Guard (Return-Idler Guard)
Patented guard fitted over existing return idlers to prevent pinch-point injuries and catch a falling idler.
- Recommended over idlers above passage areas.
- Durable UHMW slotted cage resists material build-up.
- Stainless-steel quick-release pins open the cage for fast idler change-out.
- Powder-coated A-36 steel for corrosion protection.
- Fits 100–180 mm diameter rolls; suits most belt conveyors.
Safe maintenance

Tru-Lift Bag
Pneumatic belt-lifting bag that simplifies idler maintenance; ideal for 3-roll idler frames.
- Belt widths: 450–2100 mm (wider on request).
- Low inflation pressure: max ~0.34 bar (5 psi).
- Lightweight: 4 kg (BW 450–800) up to 20 kg (BW 1800–2100).
- Enables safe single-operator idler replacement; manual and electrical pump options; usable without the base.
- Service life: 5000 cycles.

Sure Grip Belt Clamp
Patented belt clamp giving positive, even pressure across the full belt width for maintenance.
- Gripping force designed to exceed competitive clamps.
- High-grade lightweight steel; clamp bars available in different widths.
- Stays assembled (bolt not removed) for easy transport and to minimise loss and damage.
- Available in multiple tonnage ratings.
Inspection Door (Chute Inspection & Access Door)
Bolted inspection-screen guard allows safe inspection while equipment is running.
- Frame with a 45° flange sheds fines, preventing build-up on the interior of the door.
- Low-profile steel construction with a dual EPDM dust seal rated 40–95 °C.
- Two standard sizes: 300 × 450 mm and 450 × 600 mm.
