Solutions · Services

Tru-Trac self-delivers the field services that keep a conveyor available: installation and commissioning, diagnostics and belt scanning, belt splicing, planned maintenance and training. The engineers who specify the components stand behind them on site.

01 / From reactive to controlled

Field Services turn that spend into control.

Unplanned stops, daily clean-up, emergency call-outs, belt-edge damage and management time lost to firefighting are all costs a site already absorbs. Field Services replace symptom-based reaction with planned intervention, root-cause control and visible conveyor health — predictable operations instead of recurring surprises.

Reactive mode — conveyor maintenance posture

Reactive mode

  • Frequent intervention
  • Symptom-based fixes
  • Unpredictable costs
  • Higher safety risk from unplanned work
Controlled mode — conveyor maintenance posture

Controlled mode

  • Planned intervention
  • Root-cause control
  • Managed costs
  • Improved visibility of conveyor health

Past measured results

Across African mining and bulk-handling operations, Tru-Trac service partnerships have supported measured improvements in belt availability.

02 / The services

not subcontracted.

Buy them as needed, or combine them into an ongoing programme.

01

Install & commission

Correct installation and commissioning so components perform to specification from day one, with installation visibility through reporting.

Every install is documented and handed over — report, findings and sign-off — within three working days.

02

Diagnose & monitor

  • Belt scanning & monitoring

Top-cover condition, splice concerns, wear patterns, surface anomalies and edge fraying, to reduce the risk of longitudinal belt damage.

  • Thermal imaging

Bearing-failure risk, seized rollers, friction hotspots and motor overheating, caught before they become unplanned stops.

  • Conveyor surveys

Holistic audits through Tru-Trac's digital Conveyor Audit system, with photographic reports covering condition, maintenance needs and optimisation recommendations, delivered digitally.

03

Maintain & control

  • Planned maintenance

Scheduled intervention that keeps the conveyor inside a controlled, predictable plan.

  • Spillage & carryback control

Reduces clean-up labour, material loss and secondary component damage, and improves walkway safety.

  • Shutdown support

Documented condition, completed work and required actions for the maintenance team.

  • Monthly visibility

A consolidated conveyor health report (inspection findings with photos, work completed, risks and recurring problem areas, stock levels and recommended actions), plus intelligent stock management (planner meetings, on-site inventory and monthly stock reports) so critical spares are ready before they're needed.

04

Belt splicing

Self-delivered belt splicing, scoped case-by-case, using the Tru-Screw method — and splicing training to build the capability in your own teams.

05

Training

Practical conveyor training for maintenance, operations and site technicians, at the Tru-Trac facility or on site.

Courses include

  • Conveyor 101
  • Conveyor Maintenance & Safety
  • Belt Alignment
  • Effective Cleaning
  • Tru-Screw Splicing
  • Product Installation & Maintenance

A mobile showroom can also bring the full product range to site for hands-on evaluation.

03 / The ongoing version

Run these services continuously, and they become a Performance Partnership.

Bought individually, these services fix and stabilise. Run continuously against an agreed baseline — with a monthly health report and defined governance — they become a Performance Partnership: the same self-delivered capability, measured over time.
