Components · Dust Control & Skirting · Zone 01
Skirting that doesn't seal spills material along the carry run, contaminates return idlers, and puts dust in the air — driving clean-up labour and safety exposure. The fix isn't a thicker rubber strip; it's a sealing system engineered for the loading condition, belt speed and dust profile.
01 / Engineering logic
Four things that make a seal hold.
Effective sealing depends on belt support, skirting geometry, contact pressure and material-flow control — together, not in isolation.
02 / I-Lock Block Skirting architecture
The architecture, up close.
Traditional skirting is one long rubber strip: it wears unevenly and seals worst exactly where it matters. I-Lock replaces the strip with individual blocks that follow the belt and adjust one at a time.
- 01
Profile-matching blocks
Each block is cut to the belt's troughing profile, so the seal follows the belt instead of bridging over it.
- 02
Individually adjustable
Blocks adjust one at a time as they wear, holding the seal without changing out a whole run.
- 03
Compound options
General-purpose (Shore A 60), heat-resistant (Shore A 60) and fire-retardant (Shore A 70) rubber, matched to the environment.
- 04
Rear sealing blocks
200 mm-high blocks seal the rear of the belt on upward inclines or where fines escape.
- 05
Long service life
Up to 12× the life of continuous skirting rubber, cutting change-out frequency and downtime.

Skirting & sealing rubber

I-Lock Block Skirting Rubber
Block-based skirting that matches the belt's troughing profile; each block is individually adjustable as it wears.
- Up to 12× the life of traditional continuous skirting rubber.
- I-Lock blocks: 1500 mm × 200 mm × 22 mm — general-purpose (Shore A 60), heat-resistant (Shore A 60) or fire-retardant (Shore A 70).
- Rear skirting blocks: 200 mm high, cut to the troughing profile, in 1.5 m lengths — for upward-inclined belts or fines.

Tru-Seal Skirting
Dual-layer rubber / polyurethane composite; the PU layer is wear-resistant and belt-friendly, outlasting rubber-only skirting.
- Primary and secondary sealing sections; low contact pressure; reduces dust leakage.
- Profile: 19 mm thick × 213 mm wide; supplied in 5, 10, 15 and 20 m rolls.
- Compatible with the V-Lock mounting system.

B&R Seal Skirting
Dual-layer seal for demanding, impact-prone environments.
- Abrasion- and cut-resistant lower layer (45 durometer) for sealing with minimum belt wear; inner rubber seal layer (65 durometer) for wear and impact resistance.
- Profile: 25 mm thick × 150 mm wide; supplied in 5, 10 and 15 m rolls.
- Compatible with the V-Lock mounting system.

Tru-Skirt Skirting Rubber
Continuous skirting rubber for all conveyor applications; gentle on the belt's top cover (±55 Shore hardness).
- Triple sealing action — three deterrents stop fines and dust escaping the load zone.
- Compatible with most mounting systems; supplied in 10 m rolls.
- Tru-Skirt 1: 13 mm thick × 160 mm wide.
- Tru-Skirt 2: 13 mm thick × 200 mm wide.
- Tru-Skirt 4: 17 mm thick × 300 mm wide.
Mounting systems

V-Lock Clamp
Secures skirting rubber for a positive seal.
- Single-clamp adjust-and-release repositions or changes skirting in minutes, without tools.
- Rugged clamp: 225 mm high × 1 m long; locks any skirting material.
- Finish: powder-coated or stainless steel.

Modular Skirting Bracket
Installs skirting along the conveyor length; reduces spillage from roll-back and overloading.
- Compatible with clamp-mounted continuous skirting or block skirting.
- Modular — installed in segments as the conveyor becomes available.
- Custom-designed for retrofit on almost any conveyor; custom sizes available.
Enclosed skirtboard

Pro-Zone Modular Skirtboard
Enclosed, modular skirtboard that reduces airborne and fugitive dust and contains spillage.
- Sealing options: internal liners, external skirt clamps, rubber and polyurethane seals — matched to the application.
- Skirt legs mount anywhere along the structure; vertically adjustable, with horizontally adjustable skirt walls.
- Modular component replacement without prolonged shutdowns; installs with minimal welding.
- Custom-designed; internal liners and external skirting are easily replaceable.
Also available: Canoe Liner and a Dust Suppression System — specified on assessment.
