Performance Partnership
Some conveyors are too expensive, too recurring or too important to manage through once-off component supply. A Performance Partnership brings the belt under a documented standard — specified, installed, inspected and reviewed — for operations moving from reactive maintenance to planned control.
Start with the worst belt. Prove the value. Then decide how far the programme should go.
01 / The model
you prove value before you commit.
You don’t commit to a full programme on day one. The model is staged so you prove value on the conveyor that matters most.
01
2–5 days
Assessment
A Tru-Trac team assesses the conveyor in its operating environment, identifies failure modes and produces prioritised recommendations. The output is a technical findings report, not a quotation.
02
90 days · one belt
Pilot
Tru-Trac re-specifies, supplies, installs or supervises installation, commissions and monitors a nominated conveyor, measured transparently against the baseline.
03
Annual or multi-year
Programme
The pilot logic expands into a structured support model with agreed scope, service level, inspection cadence, reporting and commercial accountability.
Self-delivered, not subcontracted.
Tru-Trac delivers the services that keep the belt available itself. One standard, one accountable partner.

02 / How availability is measured
A Performance Partnership is accountable to a number, but the number is honest. Tru-Trac does not promise an availability percentage. Availability is driven and measured against a baseline agreed with you at the outset, and every figure shown is a past measured result — not a promise.
The baseline, in two layers · method — not a live score
No availability percentage is shown or promised here. This is the measurement method — the actual figures live in your monthly report, always as labelled past results.
A monthly belt-system health report tracks performance against that baseline — inspection results, corrective actions, recurring faults and the availability trend — reviewed with your team on an agreed governance cadence, alongside the commissioning record and annual specification review.

03 / What Tru-Trac is accountable for
Tru-Trac controls the scope it assesses, specifies, supplies, installs, supervises, inspects and reports against — not every cause of plant downtime. Being clear about the boundary is part of the standard.
Outside scope
Unless expressly agreed
- Full plant production availability.
- Upstream process failures unrelated to the conveyor scope.
- Customer maintenance labour where Tru-Trac isn't contracted to provide it.
- Undisclosed changes to material, loading, speed or duty.
- Failures from third-party modifications or substitutions outside the agreed standard.
04 / Commercial models
Without committing to a contract structure too early. Locate yourself on the scale, from strong internal capability through to a fully embedded programme.
01
Component standardisation
Defined Tru-Trac components against an approved site or fleet specification; for teams with strong internal install/maintenance capability.
02
Installation & commissioning support
Supply plus installation supervision, commissioning checks and sign-off; for projects, problem belts and first-time applications.
03
Inspection & governance programme
Periodic inspections, reporting and specification reviews; for consistency and early issue detection.
04
Embedded field support
Field technicians or resident engineering support on site; for high-duty operations with significant downtime exposure.
05
Performance-linked partnership
A defined portion of commercial value linked to agreed indicators, only where baseline data, scope control, site responsibilities and measurement rules are clear.
Performance-linked models are qualified discussion only. KPI formulas and contract mechanics are not published.
05 / Proof & next step
Past measured results — not a guarantee
High-duty copper operation
Supported by an embedded Tru-Trac field team, the operation recorded 95.4% belt availability and a 62% reduction in unplanned stoppages against the agreed programme baseline.
Past measured results — not a guarantee
Rustenburg PGM operation
Previously failed trackers had contributed to a two-day halt; after assessment and re-specification the belt centralised within 20 seconds under full load.
A partnership doesn't begin with a contract model — it begins with the conveyor, the failure pattern and the operating consequence. Send the belt where repeat failure is costing the operation, and we'll define whether the right next step is an assessment, a pilot or a broader governed programme.
