Splicing

Splicing support covers the materials and tools that back planned splice preparation, cold splicing and hot vulcanising — tie gum, cover stock, reinforced fabric and release materials with compatible cement systems. It also includes the cutting, buffing, stitching and clamping tools needed to prepare and complete a splice in the field. High-risk splices, steel-cord belts and splice-area damage are routed to qualified splicing review rather than product-only guidance.
