Belt Scales · Weigh Systems · Zone 05

Tru-Trac belt scales run from a simple single-idler frame to a fully floating four- or six-idler system. The right one depends on whether you're controlling a plant, balancing mass, or accounting to metallurgical precision.

01 / Weigh-frame architecture

The architecture, up close.

High accuracy comes from a weigh frame that moves only in the axis you're measuring, on load cells that see only the load. The FI-4 is built around that principle.

  • 01

    Fully floating, pivotless weigh frame

No pivots to bind or wear, so the frame responds cleanly to load.

  • 02

    Four load cells in tension

Environmentally protected C3, S-type cells, with an optional six-idler layout for higher precision.

  • 03

    Torsion rods

Minimise horizontal movement so only the vertical load reaches the cells.

  • 04

    Approach and retreat weigh-class idlers

Machined and balanced to hold belt geometry stable across the scale.

  • 05

    Calibration built in

Semi-automatic test weights, with an optional automated AccuCal roller calibration chain.

The weigh-system range, by accuracy class.

Every figure is from the catalogue; accuracy is quoted as achievable. Engineering confirms the final specification.
