Belt Cleaners · Ploughs · Return-Side

Ploughs sit on the approach to the tail and take-up pulleys, diverting spillage and tramp material off the return belt before it can wedge between belt and pulley — protecting both, and reducing the mistracking that build-up causes.

01 / Plough architecture

The architecture, up close.

A plough is a simple, rugged device that rides the return belt and diverts anything on it away from the tail pulley. The parts are few by design — less to wear, less to maintain.

  • 01

    High-abrasion polyurethane blade

Long-lasting, belt-friendly, and easily replaced when worn.

  • 02

    Rugged steel frame

Built to stay square in the toughest return-side environments.

  • 03

    Gravity self-adjustment

The blade rides the belt under its own weight, holding contact with no manual adjustment or maintenance.

  • 04

    Diverting geometry

The V-plough splits material to both edges; the angle (diagonal) plough discharges it to one side.

Plough scrapers

  • XD V-Plough Scraper

    XD V-Plough Scraper

    Blade: high-abrasion, long-lasting polyurethane

    • Keeps material from becoming trapped between the tail or take-up pulley and the belt.
    • Protects the belt from puncture damage caused by fugitive material on the inside face.
    • Self-adjusting by gravity — no maintenance needed.
    • Reduces build-up on tail and take-up pulleys, easing belt-alignment problems.
    • Blades easily replaced when worn.
  • Angle (Diagonal) Plough Scraper

    Angle (Diagonal) Plough Scraper

    Blade: high-abrasion, long-lasting polyurethane

    • Discharges fugitive material to one side of the belt.
    • Provides effective return-side cleaning, protecting the tail pulley and belt.
    • Compatible with reversing conveyors.
    • Rugged steel structure; simple to install and maintain.
