Belt Cleaners · Secondary · Zone 03

Secondary scrapers install just past the head pulley on the return path, cleaning the thin, sticky and moist residue a primary scraper can't. Tungsten-carbide blades and self-tensioning cushions hold cleaning pressure across the belt.

01 / Scraper architecture

The architecture, up close.

A secondary scraper works the fine residue on the return path, where cleaning pressure has to stay constant across the full belt width. Tru-Trac builds that from tungsten-carbide tips, individually flexing cushions and a serviceable cartridge.

  • 01

    Tungsten-carbide blade tips

Proprietary carbide grades in an overlapping arrangement for streak-free cleaning; tip profile matched to the belt (V-Tips for vulcanised belts, C-Tips or U-Tips for mechanical fasteners).

  • 02

    Self-tensioning cushions

Impact-absorbing rubber cushions let each blade flex individually and hold a constant effective force against the belt; two-way cushions are available for reversing conveyors.

  • 03

    Slide-out service cartridge

Blades swap out and inspect without dismantling the mount, cutting downtime.

  • 04

    Bolt-up tensioner

Simple push-up / pull-up adjustment with a visual tension check; HD versions carry the load in high-speed, high-tonnage duty.

  • 05

    Optional water spray

Softens sticky or moist carryback where dry cleaning alone can't hold performance.

02 / The range

Names, blade platforms, CEMA classes and envelopes are from the catalogue; final specification is confirmed by Tru-Trac engineering.
