Belt Cleaners · Primary · Zone 03
Primary scrapers install against the belt at the head-pulley face, below the discharge trajectory, where they take off most of the residual material in a single pass. Blade platform and compound are matched to pulley diameter, belt speed and material.

Mini-Skalper® Primary Scraper
01 / Scraper architecture
The architecture, up close.
A primary scraper is a blade, a mounting, and a tensioner working as one — mounted at a positive angle against the head-pulley face, below the discharge trajectory, where the belt is curved and fully supported.
- 01
High-performance polyurethane blade
Tru-Trac formulates its own urethane compounds for tensile strength and DIN abrasion resistance, with a unique profile that renews its cleaning edge through the life of the blade.
- 02
Blade-wear indicator
Monitor blade wear at a glance, without shutting the system down for inspection.
- 03
Zinc-plated mounting tube and brackets
Corrosion resistance across varied duties, with a quick-change blade that swaps out in minutes without tools.
- 04
E-Z Torque tensioner
A patented self-adjusting spring holds constant tension against the pulley through the entire life of the blade; tensioned and maintained from one side of the conveyor.
- 05
Belt-friendly contact
Positive-angle cleaning at the head-pulley face removes the bulk of the material without damaging the belt.
